At Lemon Slice Cafe, everyone is welcomed with love and served food, cooked with love. All dishes are made from scratch, using fresh and seasonal ingredients. Whether you're looking for a small snack, big meal, vegetarian, vegan, paleo, sugar or gluten free, we make sure that it is simple, fresh and delicious.


Chef Beth Yohannes, a mother, a wife and trained chef and owner of Lemon Slice Cafe, has a BA in Hotel Management from London Southbank University, as well as a diploma in Culinary Arts from City of Bath College, UK. She worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts for five years in the sales and marketing department and previously co-owned a very successful restaurant in London, a deli in Houston, Texas and most recently a healthy lunch program at St.John's Episcopal School in Olney Maryland from 9/2014 - 6/2019. The kitchen is where she is the happiest so she will be preparing most of the dishes as well as the day-to-day operations.
